Coolio was pissed that a parody of his song was made. The problem was that Wierd Al’s agents contacted Coolio’s agents and they approved. Coolio’s agents never consulted him about it. By the time Coolio found out about it, it was too late.

How could anyone be mad at Weird Al? 
Truth. This mornings huddle meeting (for our IT department) our manager said “first a moment of silence for Coolio” and we did.
Btw 90% of our group are not rap fans either.

Strange coincidence for me on his passing. Just for kicks and giggles, my wife and I were re-watching Celebrity Big Brother UK, season… erm… six? 2009’s season, I believe.
Point is, the show is thirteen / fourteen years old.
Anyway, I had put the show on pause to get up and get some food. The scene I paused it on was Coolio just kicking it in the living room talking to the other housemates. Paused it right on his face.
And I hear from the living room, my wife say, “oh my god. Coolio just died.”
And I was completely confused; having seen the show before, I knew he was fine. It took my wife repeating it again, “no, I mean he really just passed away like an hour ago or something,” for me to realize she was talking about real life.
Very strange coincidence.
