- Stacking Buffs are not indicated in the buff bar when scaled to a small scale. Would like options to be able to see i have 2x of a buff (ex - barbed shot)
- Stacking / charges of abilities in the Cooldown Manager Icon area are very hard to discern when there are multiple swipes, rotations, sparkles, and flashes. These can be disabled, but the coloration of the icons don’t match the ability to use. Would like an option to track each CHARGE’s cooldown, not just duplicate what the spell shows on an action bar.
- Allow non-icon spell representations of cooldowns, such as showing a cooldown as a colored bar with no icon, no text
- allow disabling texts such as timer, spell names, individually. I may want to just show an icon but not the name, or the name but no icon, or no name, no timer, just a bar.
I can’t get this to work at all, it just runs errors and doesn’t show anything that I want to track.
A million times yes.
Something else to add. Let players make however many sepereate sections they want rather than just 2 for cooldowns and 2 for buffs. If I want to separate out my defensives cooldowns from my CC cooldowns form my utility cooldowns I should be able to in the base UI.
If someone wants to go insane and separate out every cooldown into there own moveable edit mode box let them. Same thing with buffs.
Won’t happen. If this were to go live the degen rotation helpers would explode as you could know exactly which buffs are on your toon. Along with knowing what you have cast it would make it fairly easy to circumvent Blizz’s desires in that area.
I absolutely despite the cooldown manager. It’s the worst one-size-must-fit-all approach to buff tracking I’ve ever seen.
Insisting on putting buffs in clustered lines is just… bad design. No other way to put it.
- Most of the “essential cooldowns” are just duplicates of an action bar.
- The buff timer & the buff count blend into each other
- Because buffs are forced to display as group, we can’t tie relevant buffs to related abilities (e.g. seeing number of Shining Light charges on our Word of Glory ability button on tankadin, putting the Enrage buff timer near Rampage on a fury warrior, etc)
- The Tracked Bars are possibly the most awkward looking, screen space intensive version of progress bars I’ve ever seen
The sooner we get the ability to decentralize personal buff tracking out of the CDM, the better.
It’s like someone looked at a popular weakaura UI pack & copied it without realising that a large number of players do not track personal buffs like that.
