Some people aren’t going to be happy until they get their official High Elf race that has the exact Backstory™ that they want.
Of course, at that point people that don’t care about HEs will complain that it’s stupid and they should’ve given us [insert race here] instead of another flavor of elf.
I would imagine this as an option coming down the pipe for Tauren. Blizzard seems to look at the different cultures for references (Wild Hammer dwarves).
Elf players are never happy. They are stuck in a constant rotating cycle of being morose or being smug.

Wait, is grimtotem still part of the horde? I thought they got fully kicked out after the thing with the … fail coup.
(Statement): Not all of the tribe, but yes there are still Grimtotem members. Their leader in the Horde and Tauren Nation is Jevan.

No, only Magatha and her Followers were.
A section of the Grimtotem clans knew Magatha was a bloody idiot, and stood against her and beside Baine during the events. Jevin Grimtotem is the leader of the Grimtotem Tribe that isn’t banished, because they didn’t try to join in on the Coup.

It’s in regards to teh shadowlands customization options. So maybe pre-patch?
