This quest starts in IF at the cooking trainer. Unfortunately it doesn’t show up for my character. My cooking is currently 250/300 but I am missing that recipe that uses the zesty clam meat. Also I’m being directed to the cook in Gatgetzan for further training and he has nothing for me?
By the way, the original posting shows up as undead monk, it’s me, the level 45 gnome warrior who is having the issue!
I don’t think that breadcrumb quest is in the game anymore. You can get the followup quest “Clamlette Surprise” directly from Dirge in Gadgetzan. That’s the quest that teaches you the recipe for Clamlette Magnifique.
Edit: I just saw that Dirge didn’t have anything for you. That’s weird. It hasn’t been that long since I’ve done the quest, so I’m not sure what is causing the problem. Double check to make sure that the “Clamlette Surprise” quest isn’t already in your log. There’s nothing that should block it other than a high enough cooking level.
