Is anyone else having this problem? I tried at the Inns in two major cities - the first in Dornogal standing next to the cooking trainer. I open the cooking window and filter for only known recipes. I’m only at 10 or so, so trying to level up cooking skill. I bought mats on the AH to level and the left side bar shows that I have sufficient mats to cook recipes, but the “Create” button is not available and when I hover over it there is a pop up that says I have insufficient mats.
I’m trying to decide if I should submit a bug report, but don’t want to do that if I’ve missed some boneheaded thing.
I would love input!
Have you learned cooking for the new expansion from the trainer yet? When you open your crafting book, it should say “Khaz Algar Cooking” under cooking if you have.
Recipes you can’t make yet will be greyed out / not available to use.
Yes. At the cooking trainer I was standing next to. Which is how I “learned” the recipes reflected when I filter out “unlearned.”
You have to cut meat and mushrooms into portions first. Did you do that?
Also, not sure if I should mention that this is on a lvl 80 alt - no this toon in the picture.
It won’t let me cut meat or mushrooms.
Says I don’t have the required materials - but I do.
I have even sourced some of the ingredients myself? So I don’t think this is about buying mats on the AH?

Thank you both for this input!
I will check out this article Voxheart. I searched for “cooking,” but not for “crafting” when searching for known issues.
To update - I just went to the bank and offloaded all of my “extra” mats. When I go back to the cooking trainer fire, I open the cooking window and it still “sees” all the mats I previously had in my bag (including fish, when I deposited every fish in my inventory into the bank).
I’m going to wait until after the Tuesday update to re-try.
