we get chili next phase.
I wouldnt mind them adding some new cooking quests for some special feasts.
Example
Large feast, succulent feast, and grand feast could be a wotlk feast buff that is the basic food buff per teir so large would be the lvl 40, succulent lvl 50, and grand feast for lvl 60.
These wouldnt give anything unique just the stamina spirit buff, but its for the raid.
But then we can make the more unique foods have feast options.
So greater sagefish feast, winter squish feast, etc.
It would have been cool to have some SoD recipes added for sure. Maybe a Savory Deviate Delight alternative that uses the same ingredients.
There’s really no reason not to just get down right goofy with Cooking/First Aid. They’re available to everyone.
Give me some kinda channeled root bandage lasso thats broken by physical damage.
Or an item that’s melee range and it mummifies your target (web wrap animation) and is broken if they take damage. Could also remove bleeds and be usable on allies so its nice and wonky.
Gimme a food that gives you a speedboost that ramps up the longer you eat it, like some kinda edible rocket boot.

I think cooking is largely fine overall. It is a bit bland but it is a useful profession. It would be neat if they added some rare recipes/quests for it though.
I just made some great chili, had 3 types of beans, 2 types of peppers, and some great aromatics. And beef of course…

Also, maybe like a penne vodka with grilled plain strider.

They should also include some low level herbs in some recipes for some added spices, you know for certain people in azeroth who like to cook with flavor

I don’t believe that, its a new start for the company. With the addition of Microsoft and new ideas and the Helm. Everyone involved should have an extra pep to their step. If that isn’t the case then that’s on the sole individual. Like I said, they hinted that SoD isn’t planned for long term but rather short term, after all what’s a discovery without some experimentation?
