Convoke question

I main guardian and went Venthyr. It is fine and all but I look with longing at the pvp damage of convoke. If I switched to night fae and got this, I have a few questions how it would work.

For real burst potential, would I want to activate heart of the wild first and be balance affinity so convoke would apply all of the balance spells instead of ironfurs and such? So I could bash the target, switch to boomy form and then hit convoke? Would my legacy of the sleeper still protect me from cc in moonkin form if I have incarn running (I could actually test that now)

Just trying to see if I could hit for something like 20k in 4 seconds.

In order of questions asked:

Yes
Yes - the Incarn buff states you can clearly change forms with it active.

I think the reference to “in bear form” on the legendary is to indicate “guardian legendary”

Mind you, Convoke can be kicked/interrupted. And that’s not a form of cc/loss of control

I think the other concern here is that while convoke is going to be an awesome defensive cd addition to your guardian, it seems very likely to get a nerf in pvp given it’s strength in comparison to other covenant abilities. There’s lot of videos of feral convokes 100-0’ing people, see pvp changes made towards Rogue’s Kyrian ability. Since you mentioned Boomy, convoke for balance is also far ahead of the other balance options, and that may see a pve reduction.

You know im not 100% sure if it deserves a nerf or not I think it could be improved in a way where its more reliable but does less damage.

However most high rated Moonkin actually go with Kyrian it is a more reliable burst more often and you also get the vial for extra healing.

Right now if you get interrupted on Convoke well the convenant kinda falls flat, while Kyrian is very very strong and reliable

IMO, it should I think it should cast a Powerfull spell first and then an assortment of spells afterwords and and nerf the damage of it by 25%.

Moonkin-FullMoon
Guardian- Pulverize
Feral- Feral Frenzy
Resto- Swiftmend + overgrowth first GCD on target,

Afterwords cast 15-11 spells as it does now preferring target selected, then Nerf the damage/healing of does 15-11 spells by 25%-50%

This allows it to still be a good instant CD, and very much worth interrupting but if it does get interrupted its not as punishing and if you let it go full duration its not as One shot as it is now.
