my Convoke just used Feral frenzy and i wasnt specced into it is that normal?
Yes. Each spec has a “special” move that Convoke will cast.
Feral: Feral Frenzy
Balance: Starfall I believe
Guardian: Pulverize
Resto: Flourish
And regardless of spec, or affinity talent, it has 4 spells that will be cast across all specs: Regrowth, Rejuv, Moonfire and Wrath

Balance gives you full moons last I checked. Think they nerfed it because of pvp

Yea, balance will cast full moon sometimes. (And starfall). It just won’t use FM in pvp at all.

What an absolute travesty. Full moon was insta-famous in Legion and I remember it being so much fun. Did BFA get rid of it? Or did it get like, nerfed or something? Haven’t played balance or researched anything since Legion. And I didn’t really play BFA.
Full moon is still in the game, convoke just doesn’t use it anymore. The reason it’s not used is because both other options are safer and offer more damage. Another huge downside is that casting the moons can be slow and if kicked, lock you out of everything. Just like stellar flare. It’s just not that useful in pvp in an arena setting.

It only uses it in pve, it wont use FF in pvp
I have a question: Does the legendary allow it in PVP since it “casts a powerful spell more often” or not?
I haven’t tried it so I could be very wrong but I’d doubt it. The whole reason it was taken out was because it was hitting them for half their health, just the one tick and a full convoke that wasn’t kicked was almost certainly death of at least one person. Even without FM convoke still hits like a truck and is an auto kick / cc.
No, that portion of the tooltip is solely a pve function.
