Converting Knowledge Into Artisan's Mettle

Hello.
So I wanted to share my opinion about the post : ‘’ There is now an Apprentice Crafter and Gatherer near the Crafting Orders vendors of Valdrakken. Adventurer’s who have fully specialized into their professions can trade in excess profession knowledge for Artisan’s Mettle.‘’
My question or suggestion, you may call is, if a player can convert profession knowledge for Artisans Mettle, would not it be super nice to be able to do reverse also and convert Artisans Mettle into profession knowledge?

100% new alts or even some of my main crafters are still not maxxed out and ive been consistantly in farming knowledge too, expedition packs, rare, disturbed dirt. not even close on some proff. knowledge is way harder to get than mettle even with catchups in zara or from quartermaster.

My maxxed out and thirsty for mettle tailor/enchanter welcomes the addition. I will be able to sell more r3 weapon enchantments. Although this may result in a falling of the prices for those.

For the rest of the alt army… They will still drown in mettle!

Agreed! I had to take several weeks off during season 1 and it would be nice to be able to catch-up my knowledge points. Been farming the knowledge in rates, dirt, and packs, but recently found out there is a weekly max on getting knowledge through those mechanisms. It would be great to get a similar knowledge catch-up like they do with the crest shards for gear upgrades.

Unless you took like 12 weeks off, you should be effectively caught up if you’ve been getting your points every week

There is no weekly cap on dragon shards

The crest upgrade system is not a catchup system

See this is insane and infuriating.

its nice for the people who have been playing the game all year

the people who just started a month ago??? hekc them! let them struggle without any ability to compete with the people loaded with KP
