I wanna play my priest but I don’t wanna heal. Priest healing is meh to me. So that leaves shadow but transmog is one of the key things that keeps me interested in this game and as shadow I’m a purple vomit blob no matter what I’m wearing and it sucks. So solution? Guess I won’t be playing my priest. Such a waste to add transmog to the gale and deny its features to druids akd shadow priests…
It would be cool if they add a glyph that make you less purple on void/shadow form, making you keep you appearance with just your arms/hands colored purple. It would be more visually appealing.
There is one but it looks like you’re covered in a purple fog. It’s worse somehow.
You only need to be in shadow form when you’re in combat for the 10% buff.
There’s a lot of time you could run around with shadow form turned off and enjoy your mog.
So play affliction
Yeah but that’s like running around on my Druid out of form too. What if I’m out there and something unexpected happens. I have to waste a GCD to get into astral form. It’s inconvenient and crappy.
Not gonna lie I wish there was a glyph to not show astral form either. Just have us stay normal colored.
Okay I’ll be affliction priest. Problem solved. Eye roll.
You’re the one wanting to play shadow but don’t want to be a purple blob. Just trying to help you out. At least you can see what your character looks like as a warlock.
I agree with this. The shadow effect is ugly and takes away from seeing our character. With the glyph it looks like a farty purple cloud following you everywhere. There has to be a better way. Like a dark shadow envelops the shadow priest when he or she casts. I don’t mind the void form.
Just get rid of the stupid shadow form.
Or make a glyph that completely rids of the effect. Glyph of inner darkness or something lol.
I’d like it if I looked normal until I used void form. That would make the void form transformation explosive and dramatic in appearance.
As for the other guy, telling me to play another class which is already my main anyway doesn’t solve the problem of le wanting to play a dps priest.
The shadow form thing is so old and tired. It’s been time to change it since forever. I really like the idea of
instead of just another horrid version of a glyph, though.
Build a damage focused discipline priest OP.
Will you be a top of the charts DPS or heal? No
Will you have fun? Try!
I would love to but if I queue for casual content as dps in disc spec I’ll get kicked from groups.
Its always been weird to me that priest is the only other class besides druid basically required to be in a form during combat but doesn’t have multiple visuals for this form.
It all depends on what your play style is - solo play, raids, M=, etc…
Shadow priests really stink in Shadowlands because they’re very difficult to solo just about anything. If you want to play a caster, I suggest a Warlock - they’re doing well in Shadowlands and are super great at solo or group play.
Maybe the answer is to have the shadow form appearance put into the barber shop so it can be adjusted?
Like someone else said, one of the choices could be to have just the hands all shadowy.
Something like that.
As for druids, I like the stars effect. I think that’s cool.
