One of my toons (and only one) has an annoying effect sound that plays continuously. I suspect that the sound is in an infinite do-loop, and didn’t automatically end when it was supposed to. I know that I can turn effect sounds off while playing this toon , but I really don’t want to do that. Is there a console command or something else that I can do to stop this sound? Thanks in advance for your help!
You likely have a hidden aura/buff causing the sound, which you would need a GM to look into. The best path is to open a ticket. If the first response doesn’t resolve the issue, reopen it.
Sometimes you can get the stuck hidden auras to clear by joining an arena match, since it tends to wipe your characters buffs, which can include hidden auras.
But yeah, you might have to put in a ticket to have a GM clear it for you.

I forgot to mention that sometimes killing the character works.
