I was fine last night, but now trying anything from auction house, to doing instances, or even flying to destination, I am disconnecting. Might stay on 2-5 minutes, but then d/c. I can log right back on, but the problem continues.
I was told it was addon related. Uninstalled all addons after disabling them, and still having the issues. That did not work.
I uninstalled the game and ran a speed test to test ISP, problem continues with internet being fine.
Please advise

Three of my guildies were having the same issue during raid tonight. Random DCs all night.
Tried restarting computer, router, modem. Tried disabling all addons. No luck.

Adding on here that I’m also being disconnected way too frequently and have ruled out my system and network as culprits. I was trying to get a group together for a dungeon run and I’m glad I wasn’t able to find anyone. I’ll try again later today I guess.

Same since last night. Curious that I didn’t see a forum post until now. Same this morning. Logging in from Atlanta in case it’s geographic. About 10 minutes of trying to log back in last night, I also tried loading retail and mop and game hung up and wouldn’t load character selection screens.
I just VPN’d to DC and having no gameplay issues.

The southeast region is down. VPN to Canada or California and it will let you log in.
Really sucks this happened on a raid night for a lot of people.

I’m still getting the constant D/C’s as well this morning. Been like clockwork….from every few seconds to sometimes lasting a few minutes.

Another observation I’ve made is that while my internet connection is as good as it’s ever been (AT&T Fiber), it’s about 367 Mbps up and about same on the down. However, my in game system icon in the micro menu shows solid consistent red. I’m in Eastern Tennessee, USA.

It has nothing to do with us. This is entirely a blizzard issue. Once the 1 intern that works on tbc gets into the office, we will probably get a blue post saying they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

I live in South East USA and having this problem as well.. Guildie in Texas does not have this problem. Seems to be a Geo issue.

There is a work around. Use a VPN to connect from a different area. Somewhere on the West coast should work.

I got DC’d last night in TK. I couldn’t even log in, so I just went to bed. This happened to me and the raid leader. This morning, I can log in, but with any activity (dungeon toggling for example), I get disconnected. I am experiencing the same thing with retail. I deleted all my addons but the problem persists. I have Horde and Alliance and it’s happening on both factions.
I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. Hopefully blizzard will fix the issue soon.
