At least make flight whistle work retroactively.
Meh, was merely a minor obstacle in the greater scheme of things. Made easier by the sheer fact that I completed it on Human main (Diplomacy) along with holiday buffs (+rep). Yes the quests were annoying at level 110, but considering that I was overpower and by the time I finished everything I actually hit 113, it wasn’t so bad.
Yes to gold sink for flying but keep the mount tied to the achievement c:

I agree with removing or trivializing the requirements for Pathfinder in “old” content. The requirements were set for toons that were actively playing a given xpac.
With the old “pay to fly” system, everyone paid out for each toon. With Pathfinder, people only have to jump through one hoop and all their toons are golden. This means people who’ve done it usually don’t care, or have negative feelings about the subject.
New players wonder why’d they ever want to spend so much time in old content when most everyone else they see swoops in on their mobs/nodes and flies away.
I guess it’s a good thing that most of the good stuff in WOW was made before Pathfinder.

I have two accounts.
I have ZERO intent of running pathfinder on TWO accounts for WoD and Legion and then BfA.
Not happening.
And so I dont play in Draenor even though Id like to, or in Legion and soon enough BfA will be added to the list.
Eventually I’ll grow bored of the game and go play something that annoys me a little less that actually makes it so Im having fun instead of being irritated over a stupid mode of travel.

When its new content I understand the gating thing to force players to play the storylines out as they were designed.
But for OLD content…even for NEW players…its aburd to gate flight.
They just want to get thru the old content to get to CURRENT content and all PF does if they dont want to do every petty quest and rep grind is make it too miserable to want to level up a character.

I’d be fine with the removal of the reputation requirements from WoD’s Pathfinder, but I think the quests and treasures are probably a good thing. If nothing else, they teach one how to level through that content efficiently.
