Continue your training : Master Hsu

Trying to do this quest on my 31 Kul’Tiran monk and so far getting wrecked by random melee crits hitting upwards of 900+ and his Rising Sun Kick hitting for 800+ when I only have a 3.2k hp pool. This is even with the various defensives up.

E: Just did it but only because of a string of good crits…I don’t ever remember the masters hitting so hard and having to hope you just have good rng to beat it.

Came here to say this same thing, and it also appears as if he’s putting the poison on you again, but there is nothing to detox, drawing health almost instantly down the second time it says he put it on you.

Now currently attempting “Continue your training : Master Kistane” on my 23 Mag’Har Orc and getting rocked by more crits when she’s just supposed to be the interrupt mechanic teacher thing.

Starting to believe SL isn’t going to be ready for a Nov release either…

35 monk and can’t seam to make a dent in this guy, getting hit for 700+ melee hit, Blackout Kick for 1100+ is ridiculous. No combo of moves, buffs, or gimmicks work.

I did it in WW spec. All cd’s available, touch of the void and eternal woven ivy necklace along with the other heirlooms.

/bow, trinket for some tentacles, chi wave, expel harm, drink potion, touch of kharma, roll away and heal when kharma runs out, serpent kick away, tiger’s lust run away, heal. By now chi wave and expel harm should be back up and you should have tough of death soon.

This is absurd, idk how new players are expected to win this without OP heirlooms

Seriously.

i couldnt beat master hsu on my 34 monk tell i read something about grapple weapon. take the pvp talent grapple weapon turn on warmode and make sure u have all skills available. i started with touch of karma, then hit storm earth and fire, hit tigers palm a couple times, then used fists of fury, fortifying brew, tiger palmed a couple times, then touch of death by then if hes done poisend u detox, if not grapple his weapon and finish him off. if it wasnt for me looking up the grapple weapon part i dont think i could of beat him i came close so many times but when i ran in to finish him off when he was at 200 health me at 2k health id get one shot to 1. this happened multiple times. idk how a new player would be able to beat the dude. i mean im a veteran player and couldnt even do it. i hope this helps future players on the best way to beat master hsu.
