Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

Am I? Tell me how I am in the wrong? All I said was that I don’t agree that Void Elves got the equivalent of a core race customization pass, but that I do agree the options they got were very impactful. And you jumped down my throat about it. You attacked me.

You are right I can’t but that won’t stop me from telling you what I want to because like you I’m entitled to my opinion, I feel Void Elves have more than enough already vs other Allied Races so perhaps you should take your own advice.

You can tell me all the things you want. I want a lot of the same things you do and you KNOW that. I also agree that Void Elves should be at the back of the line for allied race customziation. So what, pray tell, are you fighting me over?

I’d accept a group-up rework of Nightborne over a second theme tbh.

Although fr, daily reminder Alliance basically got an entire extra race for SLs and we didn’t get diddly.

Technically speaking, it’s Blood Elves that should be getting the second theme.

Nightborne just need… everything.

Seems like it to me.

Why? Nightborne are the void elf equivalents and they’re the cross-faction race.

Alliance were basically handed a Horde race, the Horde getting a close approximation of an Alliance race is more fair than getting Felblood elves or something.

How are you wrong, really? You literally put Void Elf options above other races options simply because you play it. I don’t do that, I put all races on an equal playing field and I care about races despite me not playing them because I feel they deserve equal attention.

How I feel about this is Void Elves don’t need anything past void only based customization options, nothing normal and they shouldn’t get them until after everyone else has gotten options.

Yawn, that’s not me silencing anyone, if it was you couldn’t replying to me.

Because Blood Elves are the race that Void Elves got a lot of copy/paste from and Blood Elf players feel like they got shafted with their pass. A second theme for Blood Elves would provide options that would help differentiate Blood Elves more from Void Elves.

Nightborne just need… everything… like I said. They need a model rework, a ton of new options, whether brand new, copied from Night Elves or other races, or a mix of both. They need the most work out of every allied race IMO.

Yeah I will never get past they are supposed to be our version of Horde Night Elves but we don’t share any of the same options like all.

They didn’t.

They got a few things they already had separated.

Otherwise they got less. Mechagnomes just appear to have gotten more because of how janky their design was in the first place.

Numerically gets thrown around too much without context.

And maghar? Far as I can tell they got almost nothing beyond their eye colors being separated by face. Oh and a few jewelry options.

And even ignoring all that… The impact matters.

The value of any customization matters in whether anyone is going to give two bits about it.

Numerically trying to justify customization is the most ridiculous thing to do. It’s not equal.

I mean, sure, let’s give the Nightborne the second visual theme of Night Elves.

We’ll start by adding Purple skin ton- Oh, nevermind.
Then we’ll start by giving them white hai- Whoops, already there.

Sarcasm aside, I don’t mind Nightborne getting the full range and scope of Night Elf skin tones, hair colors, or even hairstyles complete with vines if that’s really what they want. I also think Blood Elves should still be getting their Dark Ranger and San’layn customization options.

I don’t see a reason to deny any playable race, allied or otherwise, any set of customization that can be applied to them. I think it’d be cool if Orcs had Chaos Orc options, with red skin and spiked growths.

No I didn’t. And you can’t quote a single post of mine that even implies that, let alone actually says that.

I put all races on an equal playing field and I care about races despite me not playing them because I feel they deserve equal attention.

That’s great. I try to do the same. Though right now I think Nightborne need more attention than any other allied race.

How I feel about this is Void Elves don’t need anything past void only based customization options, nothing normal and they shouldn’t get them until after everyone else has gotten options.

You’re entitled to your opinion and I never argued otherwise. I also agree with you that Void Elves should be dead last when allied races get their pass.

So again. Why are you arguing with me over issues that I am not party to?

I don’t need a post, if you didn’t want Void Elves to get so much you wouldn’t sit in thread after thread trying to get them stuff they shouldn’t get anyway.

Yes with void only options, I’m sticking to that nothing further normal.

Just going to circle back to a previous conversation we had…

For someone who claims to not be interested in silencing people asking for what they want, you sure do seem to be trying to silence people asking for what they want.

And there we have it.

You’re attacking me because I talk about Void Elves. Not because I said any of the things you claimed I did, but because I talk about Void Elves. Got it.

Yes with void only options, I’m sticking to that nothing further normal.

As I said, you’re entitled to your opinions.

Okay, but that’s not generally how things are balanced. Nightborne are the factional equivalent to void elves, blood elves are not.

If that’s how it was done I’d be expecting like 100 new options for Nightborne to match night elves getting so much.

If by “their” Dark Ranger options, you mean the Forsaken’s Dark Ranger options.

Well, if Blizzard wants to copy/paste the Blood Elf model over to the Forsaken to then add exclusive Dark Ranger options to them, then sure.

I just figured they’d add the customization options to the race with the model.

I think a lot of players would be upset if Nightborne were the ones to get the second theme rather than Blood Elves, I would be among them, but at the same time, I wouldn’t begrudge Nightborne anything after having so little for so long.

I think Nightborne should get all the Night Elf skin tones, hairstyles, and haircolors shared with them to be honest, as well as all the moon themed jewelry. But that’s just my opinion.

And as I already said, when I can actually silence people as you say, people like you won’t e able to reply to me so until that point it’s not really silencing anyone.

We are on opposing sides and it’s not really attacking you, it’s me disagreeing with you because I feel Void Elves have already gotten more than enough vs other Allied Races. I mean sure you can take it as a personal attack I don’t really care but I’ve actually attacked people previously on these forums and this isn’t it.

Right back at ya. You are sitting here attacking any and all asking for Void elf stuff. Listen, we do not need your mercy to get stuff for Void elves. If Blizzard considered it fair that Horde should be the only faction with the sexy, model race, they never would have given us Void elves to begin with, let alone natural skin tones. They know very well they are popular and people fought tooth and nail for them, this is the exact reason why they were prioritized over other races. If you are trying to say mechagnomes, who btw have more customization options than Void elves, should take priority, that’d be quite silly because you wanna know what I’d rather do with gnomes and mechagnomes? Kick them so far they reach another planet :stuck_out_tongue:

See, you don’t need moderator powers to silence people. All you have to do is keep shouting them down that they’re wrong, attempt to guilt them into thinking different, or get them to just stop saying what they’re saying.

And that describes your behavior all too perfectly over these last few posts.
