As someone who’s longtime main is an orc warlock, if they let paladins of any race walk around with fel tattoos as a part of their customization while I’m stuck with having to use armor I’m going to riot.

Something to make it clear that ones just an AR and the other is a Core would be appreciated.
Honestly I can’t remember who suggested it but Light/Fel tattoos and maybe something more akin to fire or even blood based ones would fit well enough as flavour for Belf Tattoos.
Void elves (even assuming blizzard wants to give high elf options) really only need standard blue colorations of tattoos for the Farstrider concept and the arcane one and some void coloration options for Void Elves.
Theres just not much meat lore wise to build off of while Blood elves have plenty.
Honestly I think class based customization would be a good idea. Even if its just some modifications or additions to what everyone else has access too.
I.E. a tattoo option for warlocks for fel tattoos while any other class doesn’t get that option. (Demon Hunters too but they already have em.)
Or druids with antlers? (kinda more a Night Elf thing I guess but maybe wings and things for others?)
The only thing that rivals class based customization in terms of how many ideas I have is orc customization.
So many great things Blizzard could do if they go down that route.
I want things like paladin librams and hunter quivers too (which better be on the waist) for the same reason.
Real talk, surely it’d be possible to make blood elf warlocks use the same model as dhs. Giving them the horns and the glowing fel eyes would look cool as hell and be 100% lore accurate.
I want that for warlocks of all races, but at the very least orcs and blood elves to represent fel orcs and the Sunfury.
Yeah definitely. Class specific customisation would appeal to me as well.
But just as far as blood elf warlocks that’s something that would require a single code slave working like maybe a week from start to finish.
Gods above and below that would be so nice to have.
Eh why not?
Fel orcs! Fel Orcs! FEL ORCS!
I literally (figuratively) can’t play my hunter because he produces his arrows purely from the concentrated power of his mime skills.
He did plenty worthy of being jailed. Don’t believe the creepy fangirl windchime’s propaganda.
I would just open up most of not all the DH appearances to the rest of the race as Felbloods have been seen as Warriors, Mages and Rogues in addition to Warlocks.
Cases could be made for most, if not all classes, including Paladins who could utilize the Sunwell as the source of their abilities rather than actual worship of the Light.
This would give Blood Elf players their own distinct second visual theme to match the Void Elves.
I do also agree with giving Blood Elves two unique tattoo options while the Void Elves would only have one as that is what fits each race.
Sorry but I will always blindly trust glowing sake bottles who tell me to conquer all of creation and wipe out my neighbours.
You do you!
I’d think of something more clever to say but I’m half asleep and not sure if I’m even writing words right now.
I don’t think fel should be the distinct second theme the blood elves get. I would say open DH looks as a theme for warlocks, and do that for all the races that can be warlocks, and leave it at that.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be at all bothered if we were put in the back of the line (and we should be). We’ve already received tons and look great. Other races desperately need more work.
Blood elves received a ton?
What a weird joke to tell…
They definitely did not meant void elves either.
Void elves are not a core race. They received most of what a core race did get, and no other AR received the same treatment.

I really take issue when people say things like this. Void Elves didn’t get “tons of stuff”. They got 7 new eye colors, 14 new skin tones and 2 new faces for each sex that can only be used with the new skin tones. That’s all, and it’s not as much as you might think, and the skin tones & faces were copy/paste assets.
Also consider that Void Elves are not the only allied race to get customization options at Shadowlands launch. Mechagnomes and Mag’har Orcs got quite a few things as well, including skin tones, eye colors, and more! So please don’t make it sound like Void Elves were the only allied race that got a bunch of things early.
I do agree that Void Elves got very impactful options early though.
Very anxious to see the allied race pass in blizzcon. I may unsub if nothing is shown like natural hair colors in the very least.
