Lol this made me think of, remember when they said this xpac wouldn’t be an endless grind like the last few and yet here we are.
I like this expansion so far but covenants are still watered down class halls combined with artifact weapons imo.
Blizzard busted their butts for Legion and I feel like they’re just unwilling to be at that level again, especially with their comment on how class halls were too much work to implement.
I won’t “lose” them. I just won’t be able to “use” them. They will still be unlocked in my collections tab for those character sof the appropriate covenant. I am also betting on Blizz removing the covenant restrictions on mogs and mounts when Shadowlands is over.
I haven’t had two characters of the same Covenant and same armour type. Can the alts use pieces they haven’t unlocked? If so, that’s pretty cool.
I tend not to go on a bet, especially when it comes to Blizzard.
I’d personally have a different clothy in each Covenant to collect all the cloth sets (and likewise for other armour types), but if you don’t want that many alts, don’t force yourself. Your plan is probably a safe enough bet.
The two week “betrayer” grind really bothers me. Makes me much more apprehensive of switching my warrior from Kyrian to Venthyr. If I change my mind, I’ll be punished hard for it.
Yea my cloth Night Fae mog unlocks are available to my other Night Fae clothies. The same holds true for other covenant mogs account wide.
As to my bet… well even if Blizzard doesnt remove the restriction, I still want all the options unlocked so I can have them if I want them. But I feel the chances are pretty good that the covenant restriction will be lifted when the next expansion comes out.
My apprehension probably comes from going the entirety of BfA without Artifact spec locks being lifted. Granted, it was BfA, so…
I think they will see it differently this time since covenants will lose their relevance in the expansion after Shadowlands and customization freedom has been highly well received. Obviously I could be wrong… but if I am I’ll just keep asking for them to lift the restriction and hopefully others will chime in asking for the same.
What are we talking about? We not talking about killing and desecrating sylvannis’s Corpse anymore?
She must die.
The design goal of BfA was to ignore player feedback to avoid another WoD. They changed the plot in WoD haphazardly from fighting to the Iron Horde to fighting demons because players were complaining about orc fatigue, then just kinda killed it without really finishing it.
Ignoring feedback let them properly finish BfA, but it certainly didn’t make it less obnoxious.
With Shadowlands, they’ve said they’re building it in a way as to make it easier to adjust based on player feedback, so hopefully this mentality continues on into the next xpac as well.
Lol @ thinking they’ll actually kill her like kill her.
No, she did nothing wrong.
My blonde hair and new hair style isn’t showing up on the forums, it’s still one of the new ones that came with the few lackluster options BEs got.
If it’s a Death Knight one it’s more white than blonde, also try switching characters you are posting on then switching back, than can sometimes force update on forums.

Just one if the recent things she done, she did allot of other bad stuff.
Won’t be the first popular charecter they killed off.
The difference is she’s one of the most popular from the whole game and she’s a woman. Lol.
Uhhh… no… Arthas is the king of that. She just has a cult following.
I said one of the most popular, she also has devs support and current writer support and yes a big fanbase, including me.
That tree was asking for it.
I’ve literally never heard of Arthas being a favorable character lol, I’ve seen a few MHP fans glorifying his Paladin days? My memory’s a little fuzzy because I had barely started playing towards the very end of wrath / beginning of Cata and I was in like middle school at the time but … weren’t people happy they killed Arthas? It wasn’t as divided a topic as say the story arch Sylvanas’s story took. Or do I have my facts / perception wrong here?
Probably because we saw Arthas’s story firsthand in WC3, while most of Sylvanas’s arc to do with her shifting goals happened offscreen.
