The only blood elves shown to have sympathies for the Alliance were the Sunreavers. Somehow I suspect they’re less sympathetic now.

And the HEs returning home have you considered them in this?

Only the ones who would want to return; which would likely call themselves blood elves upon rejoining.

And only the BEs in the rift are additional BE recruits or assumed recruits rather and per your own words don’t amount to more than the original bunch in the intro scenario. Taking on the VE name and Void usage.

I think they are a small elite crack squad who betrayed their homeland. And fit right in with the 2 HE portal keepers in SW.

I feel like they’re almost guaranteed to have Aethas take over as the head of the Silvermoon magisters just because he has actual character development and Rommath is just a big beautiful layabout.

Considering how long they took just to give Lor something other than backstory for ‘character’, I suspect they’ll just leave those three alone for some time to come. Bloodelves really don’t get a whole lot of air time in the game (IDK about the books–have only read a few of the older ones). Or at least, not that I’ve seen personally. Which is why I’m so thrilled there’s even so much as a glance of Lor ‘doing something’ in the cinematics.
