Here’s a rough mockup of along the lines of what I was thinking. I wasn’t sure what to do with the ears, so I had them turn entirely into Void energy.

Void Elves=/=Ethereals

I don’t get the fascination with this idea. We have nothing to indicate that they’d adopt Ethereal traits either physically or culturally.

Who we post on is not important. I have 8 blood elves, 3 void elves and my main is a night elf, of which I have 12.

We can still care about a race we enjoy whether our mains are or are not one.

Yet I keep getting called out for what I play for some reason, so I see no reason not to question other people who only seem to play Undead, Tauren, Orcs and give no indication they actually play Blood Elves.

It’d be for the most part a matter of adopting it out of respect for an honored teacher. (unless they go with adding the “some of them made it through the transformation in the trap farther than others” angle.)

I still think it would at least look neat.

If it was out of respect for an honored teacher, then Alleria, his greatest student would be sporting said wraps.

If having similarities with Blood Elves hurts their identity, then surely trying to force an Ethereal appearance hurts their identity as well as they are also not that race.

I was away during that expansion but going through it now without the annoyances often found during an expansion rather than after I’ve enjoyed it.

Still an odd story to go with blizzard.

It’s funny because it was poorly received and at the time it was considered the worst expansion, but the leveling aspects not bad.

I feel like we’ll find they killed off Grom and them at the end of the recruitment scenario… Then again we haven’t seen a body yet.

I’m curious if the Lightbound will visit alternate Azeroth…

I kinda like the idea of Grom taking up the Fel, seeing it as the lesser of two evils in comparison to the rampant Lightbound. Effectively bringing forth Orc Demon Hunters, having the necessity for them again, just not by the Main Universe.
