Thanks, it seems to be a common naming dynamic for anyone of Quel’dorei descent, including the Highborne. If the San’layn are ever made playable and get a new area/city I’d suggest calling it either Sin’thalas or San’thalas.

This. I don’t think it even has space to be more than training place. Maybe you can erect a large fortress there and call it Telogrus Hold.

A void elf town in Azeroth linking to it could have some interesting names, thought.

i did alot of scholarly research into ancient texts regarding something we refer today as the abyss. but in wow the abyss is linked with water only, whereas my research suggested there was a gate/door in the ocean that went to outerspace, sorta like the whole stargate thing, and it had been collectively called the abyss or abyss gate.

anyway, associated words in wow terminology would be, there’s an entry way in the abyss that goes to a rift in the void lol but we have a handy dandy abyss “void” portal right in stormwind. the words though

the abyss is the void over which the spirit of god hovers in genesis.
abyss is also called abyssos in greek
bottomless pit.
and theoretically, wormhole and blackhole.
the ancient egyptians depicted a gate on the boat of eternity
they also had a fire gate. they referred to it as the lake of fire

There isn’t really a point to build up the Rift though. It’s specifically described as inhospitable.

Partially why I put the Eco-Dome into my final setup a bit up there. It will allow them to grow some food.

At the very least the place needs to be built up much more than it is. A few tents and bedrolls is hardly enough for students.

I actually really like Ren’thalas as a city name myself! I can picture it now if Blizzard made it for us, and made it better then Silvermoon then instead of trying to prevent us from getting more hair colors for our velfs/helfs Blood Elf antis will instead complain about our city being better then theirs.

I like Ren’thalas the best too but I will not stand for Silvermoon not being updated first.
