Like i said earlier i think (and hope) they’re working on both Velves/Belves together which could explain the lackluster additions for both of them. I don’t think they want to add something major to one and not the other otherwise people will freak out. That’s probably the reason they announced the High Elven skin tones and blue eyes for Velves months back. They probably knew it would disgruntle a lot of people if they only showed it for Blood Elves alone.
So hopefully sometime soon they announce normal hair/colors for Void Elves and some other options for Blood Elves like Dark Ranger / San’layn options.
Also hoping there’s Tattoos and Warpaint. I mean several races have got these options already… Orcs have BOTH Tattoo and Warpaint options so i don’t think it’s impossible. But it would be nice to know.
I desperately want to have a white wizard beard on my Void/High Elf mage. Even if they ported over that new Night Elf beard option i think it would look good.

I understand why Blizzard would do something like this, but I’m not really a fan of that idea. They’re two separate playable races and should be treated as such, imo.
Blood Elves should have their time to shine now, and down the line our Void Elves should, too.

It’s bad enough that Blizzard made us wait after launch of WoD for an avatar update and then gave us a broken buggy rig and failed to fix the male Blood Elf archery stance. Making us wait again like third class citizens is crap.

Of course it’s entirely possible that you won’t be waiting because there’s nothing coming.
Really hoping this is not the case because blood elves aren’t the only races looking very unfinished.

They took away the Dragonhawk… Belfs no longer get dragonhawks for hunter start pet and now get a Manawyrm… I hate this.
That said… I love the new Velf starting pet.

Are you switching up your nelfs hair? I’m going with the style with the tiara for my belf mage.
I really hope we get tattoos as well, for belfs and nelf women at the very least. Velfs would be a bonus.

Logged into the PTR to find that every Void Elf in their starting zone was using natural skin tones

Hey are you guys aware that all the high elf female NPCs in Dalaran have purple eyes now on the PTR? I’m confused is this a ret con because I’ve never heard of high elves having purple eyes I thought they were only blue

These eyes are different from the purple ones on the void elves, and in my opinion, much better. I hope we get access to them.

These hair colors would do nicely.
Most of them have purple eyes. Especially in Dalaran. Just the more famous ones tend to have blue.

Hmm I see. They really need to give velfs more eye options in general. Its hard for me to like any of them, except maybe the new blue ones. Some non-glowing blue ones, like the one in the image you posted, would be nice. And in purple.

Its one of the Argus kitties you find in Macaree.
EDIT: Though the PTR currently has them starting with the normal pet they have now. The lizard thingie. Just when you look at a hunter on creation screen it has the Macaree cats.
