Naxx and eoe seem like they are easy because you are trying. The solution is to stop trying. Stop asking for a gear score in naxx. Stop asking for consumables in naxx.
Stop doing mechanics in naxx. People should stop moving when they are negative or positive on the boss. It’s harder to beat like that.
They don’t seem like it, they are. I can’t speak for 25-man because I’m just in a 10-man guild. On the very first night we went into Naxx we cleared it with an 8-man group, half of whom had hit 80 within the last couple days. We aren’t tryhard and we just run with whatever classes our friends wanted to play.
I suspect a large part of the culprit is 10-man and heroic dungeons being at the same level. This feels like a mistake. I didn’t realize it was like this (I even played back then, but 14 years ago is a long time, man). It’s just how the game is. But it’s not easy because people are going too hard… people totally are, but it’s irrelevant. The content is easy.
We knew this (even if, at least for myself, we forgot the scope), but I did expect the buffs to have a larger impact. Here’s hoping Ulduar, especially hard modes, come with a bit more of a challenge. Even if not, it’s still fun to play WotLK again
No. Naxx and eoe are just super easy. I went into naxx 25 fresh as a level 80 shaman with maybe 1-2 pieces of prebis and was healing just fine. The other day I solo healed a 10m naxx.
People tryharding it are people who want mathematically pure setups for… whatever reason. I can’t even think of a single hard fight in all of p1. Instructor 25m is the only one…. Just because of the mind controlling.
Yea, we’re looking forward to working on those. Unfortunately hard may not be the appropriate term… more like tedious. The one that requires nobody to die, for example… if a mistake is made, you’re just waiting for next week. That’s not really what I would call hard, though I suppose some might use that term.
Still, I think working towards the achieves is fun! I’m also not necessarily complaining about how easy the difficulty is either. I think it could have been better though!
