The problem with WOW is that Blizzard feels they have a say in how much time it should take to complete the expansions.

This is never ok for any developer to decide how much you should invest in your hobby. That’s why time gating feels like a job you have to come back to daily to finish instead of a game you’re trying to augment your life with.

That is all.

If you think this is the reasoning for timegating… lol

Been that way for a long time.

So you think the developers are looking out for your best interest and they are trying to keep you from investing too much time into the game?

Everything should be taken in moderation else we will get rng in an rng in an rng.

Gambling and slot machines are fine unless you overdo to.

They used to not do and everyone was more or less done with dailys and world content in mist. months of factions grinded and played in just a few.

time gates are fine with me but they need to give us flying much faster in the game. even if its a advisement i was it unlocked by questing and exploring on 1 toon.

this rep and faction requirements that are not gonna be out for a year sucks

It used to be there was plenty of rewarding and (more or less) fun repeatable content for people with different interests.

If you were truly done, then switch to an alt and repeat. And on to the next alt…

Then they started to cater to the once-through cyclical subscription crowd, who did the content once on their main and then unsubbed. Those people can never get enough one time only content, so they just unsub anyway. And meanwhile, people who like to do that random stuff and play their alts now have little to do, because devs assume that we all should want to be raid loggers. Or something.
