Its a gap, but it’s doable.
Me running +2’s/+3’s at 470. I’m now 490 on my brm.
You just can’t be lazy. You have to actually execute mechanics, dodge the cones and swirlies. Last season you could carry, this season its very noticeable if people don’t know what they are doing.
I can’t say it’s impossible. But, at least from my experience, the average player can’t do a +2…let alone a M0…in 470 gear.
As a raider, I do all content that offers even slight upgrades when they become effective. All of my alts only do m+ but they will also clear the awakened world events since the up front value of crests and flightstones is so high as a fresh toon to a season. I don’t believe any part of this design is inconsistent at all, it might not always be the most efficient play later in the season and it is beholden to some amount of rng due to random drops, but so is just spamming dungeons.
From what I’ve seen, that is purely execution.
My brm did 20k hps MORE than my healer in my last run, as well as did a whopping 35million more healing. (They were obviously struggling with how the groups hp was)
The dps either ran mechanics into the group or just flat stood in stuff.
Interrupts no where to be seen. No stuns. No dispels.
You can’t really expect things to be completed or timed if you ignore the majority of what makes it a challenge.
It wasnt even heroic geared last season so no it wasnt that good

I agree, they are def undergeared for the content
I said it was pretty decent not that good, which implies average to good, not great. I did heroic raids a few times. And as I mentioned I ran quite a few 13s, and had a M+ rating of 1836ish, which I got on my own. So yes, 471 is decent, considering also that I sim’d my gear for optimalization and not ilvl…

That’s why 1836 was colored purple, epic quality, because it was actually green quality, or common. 
The color doesnt have anything to do with how good it is. Last season was heavily inflated.
Not to mention, that that’s not even KSM. I looked up their Raider io. That was a mistake…
I’m a filthy casual, who grew too bored to bother with KSM. ← Truth.
This game should encourage casuals to play and not quit PvE because Mythic 2s are hard. And quite frankly not everyone plays R1 in PvP or Method level in PvE… Not even you guys…
EDIT: I’ve played with a few people on that level, and they were way the F cooler than you two.

You are struggiling in +2s because you had to overgear the dungeons in a inflated season to time +12s last season. That is why you are struggiling.
You sound like I spent more than 1 boss before bailing and quitting PvE this season. I’m not the only one, and that should be concerning to people like you. Without people like us, WOW dies.

Last season, yes. This season Heroics give you 476. Most of you are way too low.
