I don’t know why everyone is riding the Hunter. If he was 471 ilvl doing 13’s last season, he stepped into basically the same content he was doing, but now it’s tuned to facilitate almost 40 extra ilvls.
Blizzard definitely massively raised the bar of entry for M+ from a casual player’s perspective. It may not be affecting you or I, but it’s causing problems for some people.
