Weekly total cost 454 gold (using current prices). Just checking current AH prices to see what a fully consumed week would cost. Nightslayer Horde US.

Edit. Forgot E’kos. Winterfell is 1.9g each and Frostmaul is 20g / 3.

Most of that is insanely easy to farm with an herb alc alt.

Lotus is the only issue to that.

As someone that cleared naxx in original classic, I don’t think anniversary is very representative of what this game is. This iteration of classic is slop and doesn’t even hold a candel to 2019 much less 2004. Increased cadance, exorbitant prices, rife with bot farm mafias, and massive layered populations, not to mention a slew of changes to prevent player discovered QoL.

But sure, lets pretend like we are having fun. Whats your favorite part, the 9 second long boss fights in MC because people can push 3k dps in blues with no debuff limit, or the endless hours of mindless AV honor farming because there is no reason to queue anything but, when you can just honor farm while fishing using remote desktop.

Time for TBC, get me out of this hellhole.

I completely agree classic is washed and garbage… But nobody is forcing you to play either…

Come back after naxx when TBC is coming out… not a big deal.

Only truly useful if you’re the tank, otherwise forget about it.

Its also handy for zugs who can’t comprehend a single boss mechanic

literally all of these can be farmed for free on an alt if youre willing to put the time in.

the only people paying 454g each week to raid are swipers.

oh no. this must be sooo tough for you, because as we all know, you can’t possibly defeat raid bosses unless everyone in the raid has all these items :expressionless:

But if everyone doesn’t spend 500g on consumes in MC you can’t clear in 40mins you will have to accept a 50-60min clear like all the scrubs cmon now we all know this.

You’re missing the point.

There are two types of guilds in classic WoW.

Guilds that clears content.

Guilds that dissolve.

MC is free. There a lot of guilds out there operating who won’t be very soon.

So if you want to join a guild that clears content, you’re going to be using consumes. It’s not optional. If you show up to raid without them, you’re going to be benched pretty quickly.

So yea. Flasks being 300g is absurd, but people are going to buy gold and then buy those because they have to in order to keep their raid spots in guilds that will still exist after bwl and beyond.

its beyond that now, 30 minute runs aren’t even top 100 anymore, front page is like 21 minutes or something, this is why premium raid consumables are so expensive

“using consumes” and “spending 485g a clear on consumes” is a pretty large window, there will be (as there always has been) hundreds of guilds worldwide who are going to clear all this content without spending anything close to 485g per week, naxx (the holy grail of classic wow difficulty) has been cleared time and time again without buffs and buffs are worth far more than consumes are
