I’m having a lot of difficulty with the Underpin fight due to the boss’ hitbox obscuring the bomb mouseover. Sometimes I can rotate or elevate the camera angle and still get it, but it is difficult to do all that while surviving boss hits and still aim properly if standing in oil, dodging the line attacks from his cronies, etc. Like it is too much.
Brann as tank dies a lot so he’s often dead and reviving during the bomb kicking phases. So, no real help there.
I am working on “the gear fix” by increasing the average item level so it is easier to just burn him more quickly, making accumulation of waves of crony adds a moot point.
I did wonder if one possible fix would be to give the boss a few more yards of melee reach? Like maybe even just two yards. That way he can still try to clobber me but I will have a better chance at successfully aiming and clicking on the bombs.
Thoughts on pros and cons of that kind of fix? Any other boss fight design details Blizzard might consider?

also, you may want to try different class specs if you cant do it with rogue
from my personal experience, ww monk was good to attempt zekvir and brewmaster monk for underpin. i only read about paladin, and several other classes but its the monk im having success with despite my main as a druid. so be willing to switch classes/specs too for this specific challenge current or in the future

Step 1, keybind interact, step 2, use interact. Problem solved.
When I first killed the fight, this issue had been hotfixed. I was able to click bombs through the boss’s hitbox without issue unless they were dead-center inside his targeting circle. The bombs in his delve invasion variation work the same way. Didn’t have to deal with interact key at all.
it would also be better if there were some differences in the ground effects. Like the edge of the cone flamethrower attack better defined, the direction of the cronie line (which way the ball will be travelling), and big bomb swirls that get darker or something the closer it is to exploding (maybe the second inner circle expanding out like the one used in visions that silences you?). It’s just all red everywhere red and flames.
Some indication how much damage you have to pump into the shield before he heals all the way would be nice, too.

I am also having issues with kicking bombs and hit box. I am currently using the interact with object key bind, but even so, as melee I’m standing sometimes inside the boss and have a hard time seeing arrow. (I highlighted my character model too so I can determine which way I’m facing).
Overall, I am not impressed with this fight design. Mage tower and Zekvir were infinitely more fun challenges (even the healer one and that one took me forever to figure out).

The worst is when it stops RIGHT IN FRONT of a cronie and doesn’t explode. They should have a larger hitbox for bombs or lower health so you can attack them down.
AND WHY IS EVERYTHING RED? FFS maybe Underpin has some fel flames or blue flames or lightning or anything that isn’t red!!
And why can the bombs be frozen to the ground with ice nova/shield? They can also be confused and feared for some reason. WHY?

I dislike how you have to not attack the boss for most of the fight and kill the adds using a football simulation. It feels very counterintuitive!
