Just came back after a long break… Why do I constantly look like I have a fishing pole on my back?

It’s the weirdo way they handle profession equipment. You can talk to someone in Valdrakken to turn off its use when you’re not actually fishing.

Check your buffs for one that says “dressed in fishing gear” and un-click it.

I could never get the profession equipment hiding option to work probably, so I wrote code that cancels the buffs while not casting/gathering and outside of combat. If i could obtain a full list of the buff names, I’d publish my addon. Leatrix does this, supposedly, but it doesn’t really work.

Just change your weapon and you’ll be good to go.

It was a graphic issue when a real dev back in the day explained it to me. Not AI. lol
