Playing soul harvester aff, I have run into a problem (and submitted a ticket) where packs that are off screen, in excess of 60 yards away, or just not targeted by me, will be pulled, and I will be their first aggro target.
I thought that this may be shared fate, as others have reported this pulling stuff, but it’s gotten to the point I’m forced to go demo, because after swapping shared fate (which is bis ASF) for its alternative, I still somehow got aggro on a pack 60+ yards away (this MAY be a false positive and due to the frontal on the first boss of necrotic wake, and not a bug with aff.)
I want to play aff in higher keys, but it’s bricked MULTIPLE dungeons. Anyone else with this problem?

ive never had this issue as hellcaller aff so just play that?
HC is better for higher keys, and can be okay for lower keys. Im running into the same issue as I play SH for lower/mid keys I just end up playing HC and suffer the slight damage loss in the lower keys.

contrary to what others are saying, i unfortunately -did- experience this as hellcaller a n d soul harvester. i actually only played hellcaller for my entire aff experience, and played soul harvester for the last maybe 10 or less keys, so ur screwed either way. wonder if there’s any fixes today or not.

The issue with SH was fixed, it seems to be the Radiant Power and Storms enchants doing it at least as of weekly reset, unsure if its been fixed I have not ran into any issues since tuesday
not sure what you mean, played SH and immediately bricked a CoT, as per usual. wish blizzard cared but i know they won’t. sucks warlock isn’t -that- great and now the best spec is unplayable/unreliable?
Is this like the thing in DF where Ret pallies were auto throwing judgements through walls and aggroing the entire zoo
SH is better in every key level.
Issue is still present. Radiant power/storms enchant + shared fate pulls mobs.
Spriest also has this issue with radiant power/storms + halo but it isn’t as bad.
Lol yup some weird invisible aggro on shared fate pulling mobs in some dungeons.
This same thing happened to me on my warlock today. It’s insane the level of quality control that has fallen off of a cliff.
Noticed with my Diabolist demons.
City of Threads esp. they’d attack trash that’s no where near our group causing extra pulls and almost wipes.
Happened to me as diabloist demo in a 10 siege last night. Pulled mobs nowhere near us and never targeted but my imps still decided to wipe the group.
I’m scared when do M+ because Pitlord or MoC will just pew pew across the map
Why hasn’t this been fixed yet. This is a huge hindrance when you’re not sure if your hero tree abilities will pull extra groups.
And sure we can all try always be aware of trying to stay away from mobs groups to not mistakenly pull but why do these abilities have aggro on them in general and why does the player have to account for poor implementations.
ln higher groups i can see these bugs (because that what it should be) wiping regular groups, even in mid keys. Especially ones that not aware of the possibility of extra pulls form warlock hero trees. Not only that if it doesn’t get fixed and other players become aware of this possibility then is just an additional option not to bring warlocks to mythic +.
Still remember when vilefiend had a large aggro aura/shared fate and would pull like 2 to 3 groups of mobs.
Learn to control your magic. The fel is a powerful weapon but only the strongest can wield it successfully.
This seems impossible.
They just attack a mob and many times not the mob you’re attacking.
Could be another mob in group, or another pact far away (their attack range is really long).
