Hello all, i`ve searched the forums and news and could not understand this.
Why are we getting constant maintenance (almost every day)? Is the game this bugged to have to maintain a constant maintenance schedule? The main concern is that we`re paying the subscription and cannot play the game. If we check the downtime since launch we have more than 24h of maintenance.
I thought I was the only one who had a problem with all this crazy maintenance. I play mostly in the mornings and have enjoyed it quite a bit until this new expansion. Now i get to play a couple days a week because it is always down in the morning. This used to be a relaxing calming game to play but now with all the story line that have to be followed exactly or you can’t get the right stuff you need or advance to other areas in the game plus its down for hours almost every morning. I have cancelled my subscription and I will no longer play when the current payment runs out. Thats a shame because I enjoyed this game for 12 years. But now it is nothing like the relaxing laid back community it was. Everyone is rude now and its all about hurry hurry hurry in the dungeons… whatever…bye
That would be less than 7% of the time the game has been up and rolling. And it’s only into the second week of the expansion. You’ve spent more time on your phone scrolling meaningless social media in these last 2 weeks than maintenance has been running.
Your ire is misplaced

Not really, 2 weeks since launch and the maintenance is higher than my time on my phone.
But, there are several people that can only play in the morning, and not being able to play is annoying. You`re probably ok, because you mainly play int he afternoon or nights.

It’s irritating since I like to play in the morning then get actual stuff done in the afternoon, but oh well
Lots of assumptions. Having a wife and kids really cuts into that nighttime play time.
I’m affected just like everyone else right now, only difference is i understand this is a necessary evil and not QQ’ing about it.
I also know I’m in the minority of affected players too.

Yeah, that’s why it’s just irritating. What’s actually irritating imo is that it always gets extended, I wish they’d just overshoot how long it would take instead of under.

Same. Then I can get on again after 8pm but try not to stay on past 11. Though with the downtime lately during my 12pm-2pm EST play window, I been staying up too late just to get stuff done. It’s draining me. I nearly fell asleep on my keyboard last night at 1am
Priorities.
If video games are taking up that much of a priority that it’s affecting your health, that’s when it becomes a problem and you need to reassess.
Been trying to do stuff before a season 1, still have 1 entire zone of side quests to do. Once raids and M+ start I wont have time to do stuff like side quests. I typically push hard for season content, once I get KSM and AOTC I will take a few months away from the game.
tbh I don’t think 5 hours a day typically is making it “a priority,” and it sounds like there is still stuff to get done and just lost track of time.

Funny enough, I never have issues with the services going offline when I am on this character which is on a dead realm - in a guild on my realm
But when I am on my Area52 characters in a guild on a different faction/server, my services are down far more then they are up. Not sure if the high pop server is the issue, or being in a guild not on my realm
