May need to perform a fresh install of the GPU drivers.
Additionally, disabling addons isn’t sufficient for testing if they are the problem. Need to backup UI and reset it.

it is most likely a blizzard end issue, I have everything updated / fresh wow install / and fresh GPU drivers. There are multiple reports on NA and EU forums reporting that they are having a few seconds of lock ups and then the game continues ever since patch day

Its a definite Blizz problem. Its been an issue since this last patch was sent out. For example, try doing Ulduar TW. While inside the what 15 year old raid there are frame drops on boss fights. Also bring up the dungeon journal and it HARD frame drops just from that and navigating it as well. I have my game optimized as perfectly as i can get for my pc too. There are so many bugs right now its not even funny.

I’ve also been having this issue, and while I cannot say definitively that it is a Blizzard issue and not my own fault in other regards (such as needing to update or refresh drivers), I will add that I do not have a single add-on installed on my device (and never have).

It may just be something you all have in common, like CPU, processor, driver version, third-party software, etc. I haven’t encountered a single freeze or fps issue since the patch, and I am running tons of addons.

Perhaps its an Nvidia driver issue then? They had an update or two in the last couple weeks as well. Might be borking the game up.
Not if the problem just started I don’t think. It seems to have started today.
I updated Nvidia on Thursday, after struggling to do queued content in remix, and have not had it freeze up for me since. It may be worth giving a try if anyone else is having this issue and hasn’t already ruled their drivers out.
The latest driver is what is causing the issues for me. I had a similar problem at the start of DF and a subsequent update fixed it but now it’s back again.
Edit: Not sure what driver even is stable for WoW at this time. Probably last two released.
i been getting freeze every 30 secs to 4 mins timeframe of freeze now
