I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the current state of World of Warcraft following the launch of “The War Within™ Pre-Expansion Content Update.” Since this update went live, the game has been completely unplayable for me.
I have followed every step suggested by your customer support team, and have taken additional steps including:
Performing a fresh installation of Windows.
Reinstalling the game.
Ensuring all my drivers are fully up to date.
Unfortunately, despite these efforts, nothing has resolved the issues, and the game remains unplayable.
I have had similar issues with constant disconnects. So bad that I just have given up some nights and go to play something else with the frustration. Other online activities are not impacted within my home or on my computer, just Wow.
I haven’t had many full crashes - think about 2 - but didn’t save the error code since I thought it was a one off, but many MANY disconnects.
I’m having this issue and it’s pissing me off so bad that I’m just saying screw WoW and going back to FF14. At least with Squarenix they actually do their effing jobs and fix bugs as soon as it’s reported.
Yeah I’m having same problem game crashes every hour at most inconvenient times they said today servers went down at 7 am so hopefully they fixed it I got kick out of dungeons and raids bc of it
Does any of the errors you all are getting look like this?

Hi. I’ve had this issue as well for at least two weeks, all the time. I tried all the network things – none of them worked.
Based on a Reddit suggestion, I switched all my characters over from dynamic flight to old-style flight (I noticed that I was frequently disconnecting right after I tried to fly). It’s been at least two days and I haven’t had another disconnect – before this, it was happening all the time.
I don’t know if it will help you, but I figured I would share, since Blizz will take about eight thousand years to fix it.
Just adding in a reply so that the thread doesn’t close “a month after last reply” because same. Still experiencing random crashes, mostly from taking off in flight.
While this has been a very good expansion so far with it’s content, in 20 years, not a single other expansion has been plagued with this much buggy-ness this far in, in my experience.
Also suffering constant disconnects, not even just in flight anymore, this is borderline unplayable at times. I’m hoping it’s just worse from the storms but it’s terrible I’m getting DC’d in dungeons and in raids even, this has never been so bad.
I check this forum daily just to know I am not the only one.
I have updated drivers and do all Win 11 updates.
My computer needed the Intel bios patch for my 14th Gen so that has been done. It definitely helped as I can play a little longer before the disconnects and reboots begin.
I have disconnects and forced “sleeps” and reboots.
You would think that a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 would handle wow, especially since I do have the graphics set on the lower end.
When I am on the Internet or social media, I have no problems.
