Constant Declines in M+ Feral

Everytime I sign up for a M+ without fail the leader whispers me asking if im balance, and when I say I’m feral its an automatic decline.

Feel like I’m getting forced into boomkin.

I do not have issues with this.

Try joining an RBG group as feral…

I can see this being a problem, I get the same question constantly whether its after I’m invited or before. Fortunately I’m balance so I don’t get declined/kicked.

That’s just reality though, people want the best of the best and until perfect balance is achieved by Blizzard (lolololol) people can and will be picky.

Wut? This is impossible. Ion literally assured us this wouldnt happen. I think you have been mistaken OP.

Maybe because the highest key you do is an 8. This is an issue for 99% of Ferals trying to pug anything higher than a 10.

What is your source?

Feral basically has to compete with rogue for a spot, and rogue is to strong NOT to bring.

While this may be somewhat to entirely true, what’s the data on ppl pugging vs runs with guilds/friends? I used to (on my enh shammy) battle the same type of stigma declines. All that stopped when I found a guild that when I said “I’ll play what yall need” the response was “we need you to play what you want and we’ll go from there”.

Before the salt starts, I’m not saying ppl pugging don’t matter, but I am saying the decision to not click up with people to play with is just that, a choice. Lord knows i like just logging on clicking a “find me some ppl” button and let the game do the rest. However, if you would rather remain solo and have these troubles, knowing blizzard cant force public opinion on specs, I have to wonder if you really are serious about making your game time fun and productive.

If you want to play an off meta DPS spec in M+, you either push your own keys or play with friends. That’s never going to change. There are simply way too many DPS players signing up that allows group leaders to be extremely selective in who they choose.

This is particularly true when other druids specs are likely to be in the group and already providing your utility, and there is a very good chance either a resto, balance, or guardian druid is already in your group.

I would bring a balance druid over a feral druid on a key higher than 10 only for the cc and silence. Feral doesnt bring really anything to the table that helps the group. You could say rebirth and a regrowth but every druid spec has that too.0

I’ve had a lot of the same but you just keep queuing - you wouldn’t want to run with those people regardless of spec you play.

I tried this the other day and was declined a bunch for not being boomy.

I just want my purple sparkle kitty…is that too much to ask?

thats why u never say your spec, just queue as DPS, if have balance affinity always use boomkin form until dungeon start

With the druid you’re posting on? Your official wow armory updated after every logout.

What CC does a boomkin have a feral doesn’t, other then a typhoon vortex combo? Also they have a 15 second kick which silences the npc for 4 seconds and doesn’t rely on them to stay in that spot.

They have treants which are quite sought after.

Wish I had treants baseline! Just so fun in guardian/feral to drop trees.

A ranged silence.

Feral 101.
Apply to pugs.
Declined by pugs.
Join guild or community that doesn’t listen to meta hype bs.

Now I play more gaurdian than feral, but I still enjoy when I get to dps.
Some sweet convoke action on a dungeon boss and boom, top-o-the meters!
People still feed off the years of stigma.
