To clarify, it is normal to see high latency spikes on the as57976 routers because these are configured with DDoS mitigation and throttle non-game data such as ICMP test packets which are used in these MTR tests. This means that packets that are addressed directly to as57976, as during MTR tests, are treated with lower priority. However, they will pass other packets not addressed to as57976, which is why the next line doesn’t show the same latency spikes. Only packets addressed directly to as57976 are affected. Packets addressed to the game server are not throttled in the same way.
Looking over the MTR test you provided though, it wasn’t run for very long however there is high latency spikes happening early in the first few hops. Would you be able to try testing the game while the computer is directly to connected to the modem with an ethernet cable?
I am getting DC’d every 5-10 minutes in some instances. Works totally fine some days, no DCs. Absolutely horrible other days. Today, running one instance of H UK, i DC’d maybe 10 times in a >30 minute dungeon. Internet speed test getting 500mbps+, websites, spotify, everything else still works the entire time. Just WoW. This seems to be a very common theme from a quick google search with WoW classic Wotlk.
