Have been playing since launch and have never had a problem with WoW. Installed the game 2 days ago (after 2 year break, I hated the last expansion) and I crash about every 20 minutes of gameplay. It’s always different, sometime I get booted to desktop and others I hard crash or lock.
I have a stock clocked 9700k with 32 gigs of Corsair Pro Dominator and a 2080 card. I game all the time and it runs everything else flawlessly. Is this a know issue?

Which DirectX mode are you guys using?
Don’t think it’s you – it’s probably on the Blizz side. They’ve announced an (unusual) maintenance outage tomorrow (Wed) AM. Probably to fix whatever their reset/reboot/hotfix after the great crash yesterday broke, or something bad introduced in this AM’s update.
It’s to fix the tailoring exploit, along with other AH issues.
