Constant Battlenet Disconnects

EDIT:First disconnect of the day just now
Error: WOW51900319

I’ve already posted about this, but not getting any feedback so, here is another.
I’m still getting disconnected specifically from battlenet very often. I’ve tested my PC and ISP and it is 100% on the battlenet side.

It happens even when I’m not in game:
When I launched battlenet, I left it at the login ( I hadn’t yet even logged in because I was watching something on my phone) and I saw it had disconnected from battlenet without me even being logged in.

It said it couldn’t connect to battlenet and asked if I’d like to continue offline or retry. I clicked retry and it connected immediately.

What can I do? I’m getting disconnected at very inconvenient times of pvp or raids and I’m getting booted probably once every thirty minutes or so.
Thank you

Hi Sungrave

We should take a look at a WinMTR test - see if anything shows up there.

The instructions are on this Blizzard Support page:

Once you have the tool open enter the IP number for the server group you play on in the WinMTR box then hit start.

24.105.62.129

(include periods)

Leave it run for 5 minutes or so. Doesn’t matter if you are playing or not. Then use the button that copies Text to your clipboard. Paste that on your thread here.

*You may need to alter or remove any URL addresses to paste on forum. You could also place the test results in a code block:

Open chat box - paste test then right click - “select all”. Should highlight everything. Then press the preformatted text button along top of chat box. Looks like this </>.

I’ll link the support page for disconnects - work through the list - open the Advanced Troubleshooting section as well.

Ok here you go. The same error code happened early into the test and I got booted.

The connection is looking bad on or near the home network Sungrave. There is a 4.4 second latency spike and some very odd packet loss readings.

I suspect this is a router/modem issue of some sort. Have you tried the standard power cycle of devices.

The router should have a small button that you could press with a pen tip. If so try pressing that down then hold down for 30 seconds or so. Will reset the router to factory default settings.

I’ve been trying to cycle my router for the past week every once in a while. I just did it a couple of hours ago again to no avail.

This only started happening after the big battlenet issue last week (if this information helps). The one where the social lists and guild availability were down. You remember this? I suppose it could be a coincidence, but it seems a huge one considering there are others with the same complaint as me with the same error and starting just after the battlenet fiasco recently. I should add that my wife hasn’t had any issues with disconnection. We are both wired to the router/modem.

If it shows as my connection personally, I’m not sure what to do, but It literally only happens with battlenet related things for me. None of the videos I stream, or download or watch are affected. I don’t lose connection at all on my Steam games either. I really doubt it is coincidental that it only happens while I have the battlenet launcher open or WoW because it happens so often during WoW, but literally never at all on anything else.

What else can I try? I’m so frustrated by this because it happens so often that I cannot effectively join any groups for anything without fear that I will disconnect and then be unreliable and lose the ability to do anything social at all. I’ve already gotten kicked from groups numerous times.

im having this same exact thing happen to me right now did you ever figure out the problem??

From April?? Did you not look at the thread date?

Today’s disconnects are probably not related to this one…at all.

The internet itself is having issues today. Just wait, nothing you can do about it.
