Considering tailoring on rogue. Thoughts?

So I know they can’t be used in arena, but I think netherweave nets might be busted on a rogue. It’s a ranged root that can only be cast by a tailor. In world PvP and BGs I could see it being really good in a lot of situations as a rogue. I want to couple that with all of the engineering goodies.

You can’t get everything. If you’re sinking a slot on this then you have to give up engineer or leatherwork, which probably make more sense for rogue.

Can’t you just shadowstep shiv crippling? Seems like a waste on a rogue

Just for the net, I’d say no it’s not worth it. However you can make some easy money selling tailored cloth even though you don’t gain much out of it. Personally I’d go JC over tailoring, easy gems and that Panther trinket is nice.

If you’re playing wotlk then you can get a magic carpet mount. Tailoring is Bis as a rogue at that point!

It’s just that I have no roots so it won’t even DR with anything I currently have. Most of my CC is stuns. lol

Engineering has the Net-o-Matic though? If you’re talking random BG use, there you go.

True. It’s a 10 minute CD vs 1 minute though. Maybe it’s not worth it though.
