Considering Some Semi-weekly World Quests Becoming Daily

I don’t like this change. I’m certainly not going to continue to pay a monthly sub in exchange for no content to do. I get that people play at different paces and mine is probably more aggressive than others, but if I have no reason to log in every day then I won’t.

lol no one ask for bi-weekly wq. I do not understand why people can’t just regulate themselves.

I don’t normally care about this sort of thing but if you are not going through with daily WQ you MUST increase the rep dramatically. Dragonflight is following the trend of exploit early and often with rep grinds (among other things) with many people grinding the heck out of things before the methods they use are gutted. This leaves them far ahead of people who just played the game slowly.

This is a spit in the face to people who want to get rep organically from world quests instead of abusing hyperfarms that are now fixed.

I don’t have an issue with people grinding hard. I have an issue with people grinding something efficient and then you gutting the method so those who took their time are left in the dust with no way of catching up or eventually using the same method. Daily WQ would have given a more casual way of getting rep and it looks like that isn’t what people want.

No backlash is going to happen, you all acting like this is the end of the world.

Go do world content, you got things to do.

Exactly how I feel. And I’m sure how many people feel.

Blizzard caves to the minmaxers, and leaves the rest of us casual content consumers in those dirt piles.

Way to act like a complete jerk. You got your way and screwed the rest of us, so what’s your deal? Can’t handle when someone calls you out?

LOL grow up. It’s an MMORPG. There’s TONS of ways to play this game. But thanks for screwing us out of our way to play it. :+1:

Amazing decision. Less pressure, more time to focus on professions, leveling alts, or just going outside with no pressure to fulfill some stupid daily chore list.

Only arguement I"M getting against world quest is I have alts, yet they will grind those reps on their alts for hours lol, so lame, World Quest is a must for casuals and people that like to do them. As is Mythic + for people that like those, as is raids for People that like to raid, Imagine if they changed Raids Biweekly and Mythic + biweekly or locked them out every week.

Eh, it’s not what I was hoping for but at least it’s not the hourly rotational nonsense of past WQs, they’re functionally just dailies now.

I mean, I ONLY finished the MSQ yestereday evening, and that was after I stopped doing sidequests at all and rushed it, then again I actually do read the quest pop up thingies, so…it takes me longer

you acted like it was the end of the world when they proposed the change, though?

This is objectively NOT how human beings work. It’s the same exact argument as telling non-top end raiders that they don’t have to minmax, or telling raiders in general that they don’t have to farm M+ for the their BIS trinkets. They’re going to do it anyways and they WILL feel like they’re being FORCED to do it because it’s optimal, and that’s how human beings function. We feel obligated to take care of something if it’s dangling there in front of us and has the chance of giving us something we want, even if we REALLY do not want to do whatever the thing in question is.

I definitely fear DF going the WoD route of having nothing to do outside raids, PvP, and M+ and I do feel getting the rep too quickly was the real reason to go back on this change given the nerfs to other ways to get rep. It’s really going to come down to how well they do the patch cycle as the other things like dragon riding don’t have much in the way of replayability. Right now this feels like the knee jerk reaction Blizzard had in WoD due to people complaining about MoP dailies.

I wont.

I actually use my alts for raiding. I had 3 geared toons getting AOTC every raid in Shadowlands. I am like a raid logger, but I still play all the time because I raid everyday on some toon lol

This was an EASY WIN and they had to reverse it just to APPEASE these loud MINORITY who doesn’t foot the bill for the majority of the content.

And this is Blizzard’s other major problem… early consumers take advantage of all the bugs, then they fix them and leave everyone else lagging far behind. Like that bug last week where people could do heroic dungeons at far lower levels than they should, provided they didn’t use the group finder in Valdrakken. Or the high gear drops from the Trial events. Or everything else.

The mob grinders who complained about making these daily will be in M+ and raids within a week, leaving the rest of us with little to do once we’ve finished our questlines.
