Your unhinged responses are making that well known.
respond with an insult because you have no valid argument BINGO
If that’s what you want to believe then go for it.
Daily world quests with no rep (and a weekly quest to do a few world quests that gives rep) is better than semi weekly world quests that give rep.
The game would be a lot more fun if i am collecting treasures while on my way to a world quest, than it would be logging on to just try and collect treasures.
Rep is nice, but having more that i can do is more important.
Why do you keep projecting your strange views and putting words into the mouths of others? Is it so wrong to want the rep rewards from the world quests? Why should everyone else not have access to additional rewarding content simply because you lack the self control to not feel forced to do said content? The only “power” gained from these is gear that will be replaced next week. It is just bizarre to me that people like you are advocating for LESS content in a game that we pay a monthly sub for.
Is it so wrong to have some other type of non-progression reward?
You can have your “content” without progression rewards, right?
and you expect me to keep reading your posts?
Yes.
WQ or the weekly quest needs to give more rep then since unless you want to grind it’s going to take a month just for 2 renown for some of these reps. Though I’m sure that’s the real reason why you went back on this change.
I think that’s a good middle ground
Dude. Touch grass. There’s absolutely no need to get this personal over a video game.
I really hope blizzard reads and agrees with it.
200 gold or a bit of gear thats already worse than gear raids/dungeons/pvp gives should not feel manditory to anyone.
And reps remain unaffected.
If anything this changes things for the better for those who dont want to do world quests each day. Because instead of “having” to do them twice a week, my suggestion is a weekly quest that can be done whenever in that week.
And for those of us that enjoy the activities of world quests, we can do them every day.
I personally dont see a negative to the idea.
Yeah this is really important is that the WQ’s right now do not take anywhere near as long, are much more fun, and are more rewarding to participate in. They should be daily because it’s actually a fun means of content, and the reputation attached to them is more important than it was previously.
The other solution is as Maizou said – and while it’s a cold day in hell where I agree with Maizou – they are right on this one. Remove the recipes attached to reps, and problem solved.
You really lack the ability to be introspective. It’s kind of funny. The guy with, what, 12 alts is complaining about having too much to do and feeling pressured to keep up on all those alts. Have you ever considered that whatever pressure you feel is entirely self-inflicted and that you should work on that rather than advocate for removing content from other people? No, you likely haven’t.
The problem is that LFD becomes useless too quickly for most of us. The WQs being semi-weekly would be fine if LFR/LFD gave meaningful rewards for role fill, like knowledge points, instead of simply the runes.
Look. If I am crafting, I am competing in an economy against everyone else on my server who is also doing that same profession. So if there are WQs every day, and I choose to only log in twice a week, I am getting less than half the rep of someone who logs in every day. Which means they will get the recipe unlocks twice as fast, which means that by the time I have them unlocked, the price will probably have crashed and I likely won’t be able to make anything on my crafts.
Now, I can choose to care more about other things and choose not to log in every day. That’s my choice. But if I decide that I do seriously want to craft, because that is the gameplay I enjoy, then to actually do that gameplay in a meaningful way, I actually will need to grind as much rep as possible. Which will mean doing every world quest every day, or deciding not to craft competitively. Which means that you getting your extra world quests actually does take away my content as a crafter if I don’t want to log in and do all those quests for rep every day.
This is how competitive marketplaces work. They weed out everyone who’s not willing to be maximally competitive.
You’re not allowed to ask for the game to be made better for you, while I’m demanding that it be made better for me.
It doesn’t take away your content, it just means you take longer to unlock recipes.
Then make renown account wide since you want to now screw over those who have alts and need to grind renown due to listening to the vocal minority complaining yesterday.
Did Blizz just…
Did they actually listen to feedback and reconsider a decision?
Has Hell frozen over?
Ah, okay. So you’re wanting to just be superfluous and intellectually dishonest. Good to know.
