Considering Quitting after BG SPLIT

There may be 3 or 4 players in a whole AV that are under 60

Okay sorry, but r14 warriors smashing freshly dinged 60s in leveling greens is fine?

Yes of course. This is part of normal game/gear progression. Stopping your character at level 29 and putting max level enchants and 4k gold worth of gear on your toon is not even on the same level and you know it

Also the battlegroup change didn’t stop twinking lol, idk why you guys think that. It just made the queues longer. Now all casual levelers must wait 1HR to pvp. It actually hurts non-twinks more than twinks. We’re no life degens that will still sit in queue all day, random casuals won’t.

Never said it would. My suggestion was to just level to 60 and Q up then. People were trying to say they only twink for fun, but I find that hard to believe with all the min/maxing that people are doing on these low level toons. They love being able to 2 shot people is the underlying true reason people make twinks.

He’s playing a Shaman in the 39 bracket. That’s not a viable option.

i had someone harass me earlier for saying they should twink at max level. apparently gearing up normally and fighting actual pvp against other pvpers is not the real goal of some of these people though.

Exactly. I knew people in ESO that would constantly grind characters to level 25 and put purple gear on them with high level enchants and grind out skills that take days to farm just so they can make clips of them 1v10 a bunch of bots that havent even learned how to play their character right. Of course they would then come to max level and get wrecked and go right back to twinking lol.

if blizz breaks twinks in classic i can’t say i’ll feel bad for them. they’ve done it 098450394859345 times in retail so far.

Why not come up with a counter arguement instead of going to insults?

twinking is pvp in the same way 40 horde mc you when you get off a fp and camping you for two hours is pvp. technically, yes. but for the most part most normal people wouldn’t think so. lol

Not sure how it affects you at all?

Obvious and ongoing troll aside, I am not sure why you are against people enjoying different aspects of the game.

Its a trait of adolescence and young adult hood and one day, as you grow, you will become less narrow minded, so thats cool.

Good luck with that.

I have no a single enchant ( most of us dont) and the 40s brackets is, or was, great fun and very competitive.

if your’e not twinking but staying in a bracket for a specific amount of time that’s not the same thing at all. it’s like if i took my crappy geared 24 shaman into WSG and played for a month or two. there’s a big difference between lowbie pvp and twink pvp.

It did affect me though. I didn’t do a single BG before I got to 60 because I knew exactly what would happen. I would be up against a whole team of twinks that I have ZERO chance of doing any impact agaist. You act like what you are doing doesn’t affect anyone else, but with these “twink brackets” you have literally ran out any player that is not a twink. Or new players decide they want to pvp and instantly get a horrible taste for it when they get 2 shotted by 8 rogues. You can do what you want obviously, but don’t try and act like you only do it for fun.

That is no different in any bracket. 2 shotting is the name of the game in Vanilla, period.

We do. You can only raid so much in a week though. Spare time can be spent progressing twinks. Every bracket has it’s own charm.

At least in 60 you have a chance of 2 shotting the other player back. In twinking you have to be another twink to stand even the slightest chance at killing them.

i haven’t done a single bg at all in classic so far because i knew classic was a haven for twinks because they were gotten rid of for the most part in retail. i haven’t said anything bad about them until the last day or two because apparently blizz is doing the same thing in classic that they did in retail. so i’m speaking up about how i’m happy about it.

this reminds me of the arguments that retail twinks had the last time they had their queues separated. why should someone have to twink every 10 levels or so to be “competitive” in pvp with people who got BiS for their bracket? and if levelers are expected to do this don’t you find it ridiculous? or are they supposed to just pray their side has more twinks so they don’t get stomped?

They didnt have bgs while we were all levelling the first time - unfortunately.

And no, there arent truck loads of twinks, so you clearly have no idea how the games play out. They are often mediocre geared pug vs mediocre geared pug and its great. Win ratio is close to 50/50 and the games go for an hour. Id recommend it but they have gutted it.

And yes, i do it for fun. What other reason is there? I have no enchants and a level 36 mail chest piece.

Its difficult to imagine people do things differently than you, or that there is a world outside your experience, but shock horror ~ there is!
