Considering All Changes

This is a for fun topic. This isn’t to belittle or shut down ideas. This is to post your ideas for changes to Classic. Not to threaten no changers.

Post your idea. Then describe it. Then provide your reasoning. If you agree or disagree, post so and why. Give reasons, and details on why. Do not insult or berate anyone or their ideas. This is for fun only.

My change: Looking For Dungeon should be put in.
How it works: It forms groups, based on the 1 tank, 1 heal, 3 dps makeup. You must be within the level range, and select the dungeon you want. You may select multiple dungeons. It only forms the group, and doesn’t teleport you in. Only 5-man dungeons will be available. (Basically up to, including, BRD. No BRS)
Reasoning: Leveling would be a better experience if people could get groups easier. It would provide a better experience in finding groups, specifically as DPS.

Absolutely love it.

With boosting being 90% of how leveling is done at the moment this would make leveling alts fun again.

I spent 3 days, from level 24 to 29, trying to get a single Stockades group. All I could find was 1 or 2 people, and a ton of 60 run sellers. I eventually ran myself and 2 others on my 60, just to get the 6 quests done. I really miss leveling in dungeons. And, sure gave a try to do a normal group.

Adding an AoE target cap and fixing the most commonly exploited terrain pathing bugs.

-Add sparkles to herbs and quest objects, like TBC did
-Add a group finder interface like TBC did
-Make 5man content hard like TBC did

…yeah, just gimme TBC. There’s plenty of changes I’d make to Classic, but almost all of them are things that TBC already does.

I agree. I think making aoe cap is a good idea. Would also help reduce boost sales.

Ban people for suggesting changes except this one.

I disagree. Until they revert the hindering changes (30 instances per day) changes are here to stay.

I’m against LFG because it makes the game easier. I know it sucks that you can’t always get a group together, but I’d rather have the levelling scene be completely dead and take an hour to get a group together than have everything automated cross-realm with nearly no player interaction.
I don’t want this game to get more convenient. This is literally the experience that we asked for. They even banned certain group-finder addons to preserve it!

I think you didn’t read it all. All it would do is form the group for 5 mans. Nothing else.

I wouldnt mind that LFG system, its similar to what was use in TBC and WOTLK(before the current system got introduce); the journey to the dungeon is what is really being miss out in retail. I dont even know where most dungeons are after WoTLK in retail because of all the porting.

The changes I say that would be good in Classic is the introduction of either TBC or Wotlk class abilities and talents with fixes to stuff like pally wing not being dispellable(made not sense that it ever was dispellable) and reduce the talent require along with merging some talents so it works for lvl 60 would be amazing. With this all class/specs will actually be viable and all PVE stuff will need to be adjusted for it so raid experience would actually be different, instead of this thing that we know too much about making it no longer a challenge to do. And debuff cap should be remove from raid boss.

That’s not really a change, that’s basically what meeting stones did in Vanilla and you could also queue for meeting stones from an innkeeper. They didn’t add the summon functionality until TBC I believe.

I’m currently leveling my 2nd warrior and 4th character to 60 on my Horde server which is medium population, and I haven’t really had trouble finding groups for anything as long as it’s not in the middle of the night. Ironically it feels way harder finding groups for things on larger and larger servers because that’s where booster culture seems to be the most prevalent.

Just realized the OP is the 4-account player who is upset about the 30/day instance cap.

You are personally attacking me now, stay on topic or leave.

That doesn’t have anything to do with the topic. I posted the 30 day thing as an example of they made changes. That’s it. Get on topic or leave.

This is a public forum, and you do not get to decide which direction the conversation goes, especially when it is about something you yourself first posted about in the thread.

You have made multiple threads for changes since you were upset about the 30-cap.

You are correct, I don’t get to decide where the discussion goes. But, how you’re doing it is a personal attack. That is not ok. Leave me alone, and stop harassing me.
