Learn from your mistakes with SoM. Servers remain locked and they died. Know that the servers were as bad as they were because it is Launch.
No queue on a Saturday morning 2 days after Launch. I wanted to reroll Dwarf with no other character on the server and deleted. Now I’m locked out. Enforce a queue, that’s fine. A week after Launch servers don’t need to be locked anymore it might die without new players flowing in.
I’ve never liked the idea of locking servers. Queues are fine, and if people can’t deal with them, then that’s whatever, but I totally agree that locks are no good.
Ha! Yeah, I remember when this happened to me on Faerlina! It wasn’t super trivial for me either, since I was playing one faction, leveling, then deleting and restoring the other… and ended up losing both toons.
The mistake they made with SoM is that they forgot to unlock the servers. That’s the problem.
Will they forget and not care to unlock with SoD? Please dont repeat the same mistakes. Enforce a queue not a locked server.
