Consider Removing Lockouts From Legacy Raids

Being able to essentially unlock all Transmog regardless of class is a HUGE first step, but why not go further? Legacy raids shouldn’t even have a lockout. If people want to farm XMog to their heart’s content, let them. I could understand perhaps slightly nerfing mount drops, but that’s about it.

It’s time, remove these arbitrary lockouts.

It truly is never enough.

Doesn’t bother me at all. If anything I appreciate only doing them once a week. The obsessive collector side of me can take a break.

It’s more of what’s the point. FF14 has a system just like this, so why not do the same thing?

Great, yes, you can still give yourself a break if there is no lockout.

And I do. Because there’s a lockout.

Abd you still can if there isn’t a lockout, It’s not the games fault you’re unable to control yourself.

Agreed. There’s no point in keeping the lockout for legacy content. Soon as the expansion gets flagged as legacy, remove the lockouts on the content and let the collectors just farm it to their heart’s content.

This should apply to all previous expansion mythic dungeons that aren’t a part of the current season. If I want to continuously run Freehold until Sharkbait drops, I should be able to.

Exactly! FF14 does it and people love it.

OP is right.

then go play that game…

Irrelevant. Blizzard has already taken many things from FF14 and is continuing to do so.

“taken from” ? you have a funny way of saying “they made something similar” it’s not irrelevant when YOU brought it up, so you’re literally irrelevant then. got it. bye felicia!

Thanks, bye!

And requiring a raid group, if someone can solo, let 'em.

No. They’ll keep it as it is as that is how they encourage staying subscribed to doing these legacy weekly lockout. Making it legacy loot is only real compromise they’ll do.

Until then. Level alts. And do that.

You can literally collect any class’ armor on any class, and most raids you can do n/h/m/rf as well.

I am not arguing against getting rid of lockouts - they suck - but they kinda sorta back-channel did exactly that with lifting class restrictions first on armor types, then restriced set pieces. You can get anything with one character, double your chances with two.

I would rather see prior xpac raids IMMEDIATELY made legacy, to be honest.
