Consecration visual and Light's Hammer

Just an idea that popped in my head today.

Since Light’s Hammer has been retired from Holy…

I think it could be a good opportunity to make a glyph or update the visual of Consecration to what Light’s Hammer looked liked.

Something all spec could use.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like something we can fully replace BoJ graphics with with some tweeks.

Yeah i can get behind this idea.

They’re saving it for a mid-expansion patch when they release our Consecration-themed hero spec

Need to stand in it to hit things 50% harder. They are dubbing it DnD cleaving strikes ++++

Blizzard: “We see that retribution paladins have started to disregard consecration, so we decided to re-design retribution’s mastery to include cleaving damage while standing on consecration. We also decided to remove blessed champian and blade of vengeance to help push paladins to maneuver to their consecration, as we want that to be the paladins main way to AoE.”

(Spits his drink onto the computer board)

Okay, this one had me in tears.

they have an idea for it but never have the guts to pull it off.

Well they did, got bad feedback and backed out.

But it’s still used for NPC that casts consecration.

The boss fight in Dawn of the Infinite( as Horde), the one with the paladins, they have the updated visual.

I think it’s the same with the alliance paladins fight in BFA in the Troll city.

That’s part why I’m suggesting Light’s Hammer since it’s been, at least to my knowledge, a well liked visual effect, only it fell behind because of the mechanic of the spell.
