- Unchained Equipment Chest for Conquest that contains 1 piece of item level 220 unranked PvP gear. The chest can only be purchased by a character with a 1600 or higher rating in any PvP bracket.
I’m talking about the upgrades though lol
Pretty sure they mean with the extra ranks they’ve added, the upgrade cost of conquest is gonna stay the same from base ilvl to duelist in 9.1 and in 9.1.5 even with extra ranks.
I hope that’s what they mean. This is extremely poorly written and makes it sound like upgrading rated gear will cost conquest
Blizzards has always been extremely terrible with their wording.
Technically they should’ve reduced the cost of honor for conquest upgrade too…

Time gated upgrades for time gated gear? Literally what
conquest is not timegated

- rateds give conquest, people buy and upgrade gear with conquest and do more rated to get more rated gear
- randoms give honor, people buy and upgrade gear with honor and do more randoms to get more unrated gear
blizzard discourages rateds after people get their ranks, those people upgrade their rated gear smashing unrated people in randoms for honor
