Thinking about Sinful when raiders were encouraged to PvP after an entire expansion of PvPers having to PvE more than any other expansion. I think I had like 1-2 PvP pieces when I finished up my bfa s4 goals.
PVE players don’t need to pvp to raid or do m+. If we want our tier sets in order to pvp we raid for it or afk for four weeks until we can craft depending on vault rng luck which I have heard and read a good portion of pvpers are indeed afking. I honestly could care less what pve players are have a temper tantrum about in wowheads comment section after I read it as well.
Yeah never read wowhead comments, they’re pure casuals thinking everything should be handled to them for free, and always complaining about something else that’s not even remotely close to the subject of the post.
I think PvP participation is at an all time low and blizzard is trying to get it back up.
Now we need increase conquest gain.
On rbg quest weeks I fully cap in 2 rbg wins, why would that need to improve? The weeklies (soloq, rbg/arena) alone give what 175conq per? On top of doing the activities that are required to complete them. If you mean back cap like for alts than a small bump if you have over 2500 conquest to cap and goes normal once you get under that I think is fair.
It could be improved by allowing solo shuffle (and random battlegrounds) to give vault progress so nobody is forced to suffer through rated battlegrounds ever again and the mode can finally be reworked/updated.
I think we’re talking 2 different issues. He is talking about conquest gain and your talking about capping vault. Absolutely all honor gaining content should contribute to vault I agree with that, but again separate convo

Remember in wod when you were gaining 180conq per win and took you 10wins to cap the weekly, or later in the season they doubled conquest gains to 360 per win and took about 20 to fully catch up
So you take the slightly longer route and miss the quest for the extra conquest. Beyond that this just seems like “I want to play the game less blizzard” in what’s supposed to be your preferred content. I’d understand if it took 10+ hours to cap but it doesn’t. It’s actually not that slow at all.
Edit: I agree with your edit tho, 10 wins for full cap seems fair, but it’s honestly not that far off that right now so I think it’s a non-issue. Improvements could be made but it’s not something to be upset about, is my mentality for this specific topic.
Because why does it matter if you gain conquest faster? Would be nice to get catch up to a degree after playing two weeks again. Would probably help people play alts more.

Yeah, they also forget they can spam clear things for gear, whereas pvpers if we want pvp gear are locked to maybe 1 item a week rn.
You know, when cap took that fast to actually do back in wod, people had more than 2 alts and enjoyed playing on all their chars because they were all up to date with everyone else, so all games were skill dependent, not gear.

Like I said I agree with your edit. Had more alts in MoP not so much cause gear was accessible (which it was) but more cause class design was so good it didn’t matter if you weren’t full gear. I remember being full greens at 2200, was jokes. WoD had trash class design, gear was done fine but I still had friends quit over ashran trinkets and I myself quit out of how boring that expac was.
I don’t understand why you are against increase conquest gain. Seems pretty weird. Who cares you get pvp gear at a fast rate. Pvers can just spam m+ to get full gear.
