Blizzard just absolutely hates player choice for some reason. They 100% do not want you to be able to pick specific pieces of gear with specific stats. They like to add RNG to their RNG. Hey, maybe you’ll get the piece of gear you want with the correct stats…or maybe you’ll get the same exact piece with the same stats you don’t want for the third time!!! Fun right??

I just love how the RNG alt loot went terribly for Korthian Armaments, so they decided to fix that and then apply the same system that they just changed to PvP alt gearing

Should have just given a token that converts 375 Conquest to 250 or some garbage like soul ash so I can buy what I need

This is blizzard 101. They fix their mistakes in one area…but then apply that same mistake in another area.

Bought 10 got 5 duplicates
Only 2 of the 5 usable pieces had the stats I need.
Legit just an awful system but what else is new. Couldn’t remove the upgrading of gear and just let gear be gear so alts didn’t take 100s of hours to gear.
If my Alt got a 1800 Conquest Cost 2H for only 375 Conquest the second they dinged 60 I wouldn’t care what stats were on it. It’s a system for gearing alts, not for funneling gear to your mains like you all want it to be…

They’re really close to having the game be really really good man. But the RNG that they’re obsessed with has to go away.
Seems like they are either all in on the time gating or all in on the RNG.
i bought 16 for an alt. 5 necklaces, 4 weapons (one handers no offhand), and 3 rings. filled out half my gear which was cool, but woulda been nice to have all of it. I suppose for the reduced cost and the fact I’m not using the conq on anything else, it’s a pretty good deal.

I got a main hand and an offhand wep last night on my Mage. Wrong stats of course, but they still dropped.
i can kinda see why they don’t let you pick your stats, but why they won’t let you buy targeted slots like they did with the korthia boxes is beyond me
