I think your missing the point of the response. Asking guildies how to get conquest is not the same as doing research. Blaming the game mode for being too difficult to comprehend when the game mode is literally very simple says that you didnt do research. I hate that people think spending zero time looking into what they are doing, yet complain about how hard basic things are is acceptable. How is it anyones fault but your own you didnt watch a 5 min video explaining how BGs work if youve obviously never attempted any pvp, which based on not knowing what conquest is, tells me im rigjt

In all honesty they should have the information in-game. Just saying. But itās also a little unfair to the rest of the players to go in unprepared. When I was new in Legion, Iād go into dungeons blindā¦ raids blindā¦ and Iād get harassed for it all the time. Never knew why. But I kind of got it later and it ruins it for others when there is that kind of person in the group.
The attitude of the pvpers or w/e group your in though is just unnecessary as things can be resolved in literally a few seconds by just explaining something or asking for help.
That said to your point about essencesā¦ yeah itās TO ME a completely broken system that should of never happened the way it did. Unlocking āāappearancesāā as Ion mentioned as a comparison to essences, is differentā¦ it was optionalā¦ like completely optionalā¦ these essences hit on points that if you at the very least want to do wellā¦ you kinda need this one or that essence.
I suck at PVP so Iāve come to the understanding that I wonāt bother for those essences. Plain and simple. Itās all gone at the end of the expansion and if you arenāt mythic raiding or world first, or just high end progression, you should be fine.
It doesnāt excuse the way they went about this though. I think having said essences be accumulated through the activity you like then having some mystical essence crafter do the one you need should of sufficed.
And if you wanted the rank 4 cosmetic, then youād need to go do X, Y, Z activity in-game.

Not a ton of sympathy for you on this as your attitude is the issue butā¦try this,
Go get against all odds and then go to the pvp spot and get cta:wherever x2. Use the lfg tool by searching āctaā, join groups, contribute and hopefully have fun
