Hi, so ever since the ToT prepatch about a month ago, I constantly DC every 5-10min.
I have tried a bunch of different things so Far. I’ve completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game and addons. Also on a fresh install of windows. i flushed my DNS and renewed my ip, updated my firmware and have tried a bunch of different settings in game.
I am and always have been on a wired connection as well. I have zero problems connection wise with anything else on my network, only WoW.
I’m at a loss of what to do, makes me want to stop playing.
A full ui reset would be warranted, especially after a big update.
You can try a vpn connection, see if it stabilizes your connection. If it does, reach out to your isp to see if they can check for routing issues from them to Blizzard.
It might not help to know, but where do you connect from, what kind of isp?
I live in New England, and my isp is breezeline
I have tried numerous things mentioned on here, this describes my current situation as well. I have found I can still chat in game but can do nothing else, latency spikes from around 60 to 4k and higher. I’m so frustrated right now, I can’t even play the game it’s so bad and I still keep trying.
