Anyone else within the last hour having connection issues? I keep getting disconnected every 3-5 minutes (sometimes as I’m reconnecting) and when I try to submit a ticket I either get disconnected from the game again or the website gets disconnected. It kept happing to the point I was logged out of Battle.net and WOW. I’ve been watching Realm Status and my email to see if someone had hacked my account. So far everything looks normal but nothing is acting like it is. I’ve even reset my router thinking it was my internet connection/service and it didn’t help.
Same here, this happened to me ever since last Wednesday. Thinking it is my connection and it happens more when I am either playing WoW or Hearthstone.
I get a lot of disconnects these days–especially when it seems to be peak times for Wow. Sometimes 5 or 6 an hour or more.
And speaking of Wednesday? Every Wednesday is the absolute worst–but similar to weekends.
Regardless getting booted every five minutes sometimes for a few hours
Yesterday I was doing pet battles in Pandaria and kept getting disconnected. Today I’m trying to log in my main character (Catelan - Aerie Peak) and I’m stuck on the character loading screen where you see the “Tip:…”
After a game reset (quit & reload) I was able to log her in.

Having the same issues. Wish Blizz would fix it instead of laying blame elsewhere.
I’ve heard it all… it’s your UI… your addons… your computer… your ISP… bottom line is that no other device on my network is having issues, and I’m only having problems when playing wow. There’s something going on, and just tired of jumping through flaming hoops only to be pointed elsewhere when I know better.
I used to do this for a living and I have the certifications to prove it. It doesn’t make me an expert, but it does make me more informed than the average person. I’m trying to be polite - but I’m getting really annoyed with the constant denial of the issue(s).
I’ve done all the standard troubleshooting - traceroutes; disabling addons; resetting UI; changing various ingame settings; connecting directly to the modem etc etc etc… and a partridge in a pear tree…
I’m not asking for miracles. I’m simply asking as a paying customer - please investigate the issue and fix it.
I have done a bunch of things as well, including turning all addons off, resetting, clearing my DNS cache, and so on. And none of it did anything. Also, all of my drivers are updated daily as needed and my computer is only about a year old and is very high end.
Honestly, the problem has steadily gotten worse for weeks. Yesterday I got disconnected about 20 times, and the disconnects totally match what has to be server load on Blizzard’s end. Or so it seems.
Is this related to the DDoS attacks that are reportedly happening now?

I got disconnected 10 minutes ago (BLZ51903006) and have been unable to reconnect; I also can’t connect to us-looking-glass .battle .net (“Secure Connection Failed”.) I’m pretty sure their server went down.
Do you use wired or wireless connection?
most laptops nowdays do not have a RJ45 plug for wired connection and have to relie on WiFi to connect to the internet.
Most laptops do have a physical plug port. It’s the all-in-ones and convertible tablets (neither are meant for gaming anyway) that typically leave this option out.
